I am making the 715 mile train journey home today. Nine and a half hours on two different trains and a tube journey in London. Oh my.
Im so glad that they have Internet on this train though, im spending seven hours on this one train alone.
I forgot to bring my camera so unfortunately there wont be any of my own pictures this post, or any until Wednesday, so I'll be using pictures I find off the Internet if I find any that fit my posts.
I've been on this train for an hour and twenty minutes now, only another hour until Edinburgh, and then just under 6 hours till London.
This has turned into a rather boring post so I think I will change the subject!
I was baking last night (forgot to take pictures, oops!) to take some of my goodies back home for the family, and man does this stuff smell good! I baked brownies and made honeycomb, its in my bag just now and the entire area around me smells so good, i just want to gobble it all up, but I've eaten far too much already, and its nowhere near lunchtime!
I'm a 'boredom eater' just for something to do I'll eat and eat and eat, but I've made sure I stick to the food I've packed and nothing else, so I've got no money on me so I'm not tempted to buy the overpriced food they have on the train, and man can it get expensive!
Im wearing the St. Christopher I got for Christmas, its a lovely silver one, and I wear it around my wrist as I've already got two necklaces on and I hate it when they get tangled, I'm so inpatient when it comes to untangling things.
I think its such a lovely thing, I adore silver necklaces, I just do! I rarely wear gold, unless it's antique or made to look like it, I adore the tarnished, old feel of the metal then. Shiny new gold is too much sometimes.
Im going to miss M when I go back home, we both get so lonely when we go to sleep whenever I go back home, but he always surprises me with something sweet whenever I get back it's our anniversary on the 20th, I'm so excited! I think I won't be as lonely, Big Sis and my nephew are staying at my Moms for a while and it's half term right now and my nephew gets so excited whenever I go home he will clearly insist on sleeping in my bed bless him, hes such a sweetheart. And he's growing so fast! It seems as if it was only last year my sister came home with a little ball of cuteness :]
I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone back home, it's been far too long since I've been back, and even longer since I've seen some of the people, some of them I haven't seen since I moved to Scotland, which is a real shame, but I get to see them again on this trip!
One of these friends is a keen cook like me, always baking and thinking up ideas just like me, so on Monday he'll be coming over and we'll be cooking for the day! I reckon it'd be fun to see what we cook up (pun intended ha ha). My jokes are rather poor, but what do you expect from a woman who's been on a train by herself for far too long already!
Me and T will go to the beach, there's a nice little spot that's sort of off the touristy part, you have to go through a broken fence to get to it, but it isn't really prohibited to go there and it's not hard to get there either, it's so peaceful and there are nice rock pools when the tides out. I love to look at the sea life that's there and wonder what its like to be an anemone or a starfish, pretty lonely I'd expect. I prefer to be a human anyway, I couldn't give up my baking!
I think Ill leave off here, but it was nice sharing a bit of my thoughts and to ramble off, I hope you've goten to know me a bit better!
Have a tremendous Tuesday folks!
Kerry
