Today, instead of doing the work that I should be doing, I got Michael to take me to town and browse *cough* around the shops. I went to a craft store that I rarely get to go to because its way on the other side of the city and I don't fancy walking for an hour and a half, no sirree!
I bought some lovely lace
See the pink one in the back? The woman nearly choked when I asked for 20 metres of it, I would have bought more but I would have felt bad making her measure out more
This is my favourite of all the lace, but it was so expensive I could only afford half a metre, I wonder what I'll end up using it for, any ideas?
I love these little card pieces, the little couple on the right are so cute! Puppy love always is :]
Every year I hold an Easter egg hunt for all my family, even the older ones! It seems that my mum is the one that gets most involved, she's so excitable ha ha, and this year my nine year old nephew will be joining the hunt for the first time so I'll make it extra special this time
I bought this little Easter egg basket, It was so cute, and so cheap! The fabric was the thing that drew me to it first, and I reckon it's not TOO Easter-y so I can keep it on display all year round too!
Maybe I'll fill it with truffles and other things I make, and keep it as a table centrepiece, whatdya think?
I also bought a few beads and such, general crafty-type items, some extra papers and embellishments, Michael standing there all the while asking 'but WHY do you need these things?'
Simple, because they're pretty and you always need pretty things to brighten up your home!
Au revoir
Kerry
